Welina mai!
Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha ma Hawaiʻi was first opened in 1996 as a temporary campus in Keaukaha to continue Pauahi’s legacy, extending educational opportunities to haumāna on Hawai‘i Island. On September 7, 2001, the school officially opened the permanent and present site in Kea‘au, Hawai‘i. The campus is located eight miles south of Hilo on 312 acres of remote, heavily forested land. The facilities include 25 buildings, including a stadium, two learning centers, an Olympic-sized pool, and three athletic structures.
VISITORS: Please note, when coming on campus during regular school hours beyond a pick up or drop off, you do need to check in with the front office of the division you are visiting. A government-issued photo ID is required to check in at our visitor kiosk. A visitor badge will be printed which you are required to wear at all times when on-campus. As a safety precaution so we have an accurate accounting of everyone on campus, you are also asked to make sure to check out when leaving campus, which can be done very easily by scanning your visitor badge at the kiosk. Mahalo!
