🌿 Our Waiʻanae region kumu recently gathered to learn the art of designing kīhei using ʻohe kāpala and natural stamps from the ʻāina. Each pattern carries meaning, each imprint a story—connecting past to present through hands-on, ʻike-rich practice. This ʻike will flow to our keiki who will create their own kīhei in preparation for their Hoʻomau Nā Keiki ceremony—marking a close to the school year and for some an end to their time learning and growing at Kamehameha Preschools.
