Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association (KSAA) is a private nonprofit organization that exists to organize and participate in educational, social, and cultural programs that reach, connect, and engage the Kamehameha Alumni ‘ohana while supporting the core mission of Kamehameha Schools and the Pauahi Foundation.
The association was officially founded in 1922 when seven alumni of the Kamehameha School for Boys—Harold Godfrey KSK’1912, John Desha KSK’1903, David Desha KSK’1905, Richard Oliver KSK’1907, Charles King KSK’1891, Oscar Cox KSK’1895 and Samuel Toomey KSK’1907—petitioned the treasurer of the Territory of Hawai‘i to charter the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association.
Ninety years later, KSAA has evolved and spread to 15 regions across Hawai‘i and the continental United States.
Membership in the Alumni Association is granted upon graduation.
While some of our regions closer to home are very active and hold regular meetings and events, not all of our regions have the benefit of a strong alumni presence or leadership. If you’re interested in learning more about your Region’s activities, visit the region pages below. Region membership is not restricted to campus affiliation, but is open to all KS alumni.
Current region leadership began their cycle July 1, 2021 and will continue through June 30, 2023, though each region may have different cycles for some leadership roles and for members.
We are always looking for KS alumni who are interested in leading the charge in their region. If you are interested in becoming or creating region leadership, please contact alumni@ksbe.edu.
